From Shaman to Priest to Therapist….
Feeling Found recognises that every individual is unique. Spiritual, cultural and religious diversity is respected in the therapy room along with sexuality and gender. In western culture, especially in the inner city, the loss of community spaces and shared narrative has left many feeling isolated and alone with their difficulties. In the past places of worship or the pub often provided a place for dialogue but these places are less frequented by locals and many have closed their doors for different reasons. The therapist provides a missing role in today’s society, creating a professional and safe space for people to open up, explore themselves, share their secrets and experience someone who will be an authentic witness to their story.
